What it says on the spine: This book examines the mutating technological infrastructures of typesetting built on the Latin alphabet, while taking a broad view to examine non-Western typographic systems and histories, suggesting alternative approaches and avenues for more research. It favors specificity over completeness and is a snapshot of an ongoing process of research organized around our interests.
